The St. Jakob-Park is the football stadium of FC Basel. Popularly called the stadium but still "Joggeli," which was actually the name of the old stadium, which stood on the site. The St. Jakob-Park was opened in 2001, construction costs were approximately 250 million Swiss francs. The new Joggeli is a 4-star stadium, and since the enlargement of the European Championship 2008, the largest stadium in Switzerland. Here are some photos of the stadium and the surrounding area.
