The Aeschenplatz is one of the market places in the city of Basel. In addition, there are some bank building, such as that of UBS by Mario Botta. In North-western direction, it goes to the station, in a northerly direction to the Wettstein Bridge, which is the fastest connection to the Klein Basel.
